There are many bingo sites online today that have connections with well-known magazines and newspapers and OK Bingo is just one of them. This site has quite the history though, and whilst its current platform is Jumpman Gaming, this has only been since 2020. It was approximately 2009 when the site was originally launched and at the time it was on the St Minver network. This network underwent many changes; at first, sites were powered by the Parlay Entertainment software before migrating to the G2 Gtech offering.

OK! is a weekly British magazine that primarily focuses on celebrity and royal news, but you won’t find any of this at the bingo site. Instead, you will find an impressive array of slots with a side dish of bingo. The familiar logo can be seen on the home page, but the links to the actual magazine brand stop there.

But how does their website stack up nowadays? Is it a worthy use of your hard-earned money? Keep reading our full OK Bingo review below and learn everything we found out.

Welcome Offer

A warm welcome is offered to new players at OK Bingo by way of a Mega Wheel spin when you make your first successful deposit of at least £10. The top prize from the wheel is a 1000% bonus match worth up to £2,000.

The chances are that you won’t find your pointer landing in this section of the wheel, but on one of the other segments that still offer bonus matches, just a lower number such as 500%, 300% or 100%.

The worst-case scenario is that you land in the ‘Unlucky’ segment because this means that you don’t receive any freebies with your initial deposit or it may be that you have to spin again.

Bonus Wagering

Wagering requirements are 65x the amount of bonus won and there is a maximum bonus conversion of £250 which is equal to your lifetime deposits.

Compared to other UK online bingo sites, the wagering requirements here are actually quite steep and the maximum win cap equal to your lifetime deposits or £250, isn’t fantastic.

Promo Codes

A bonus code, or promotion code, is not required to claim the new player welcome offer from this site as it sometimes is as others.

We did find one promo code listed at OK Bingo and this was located in the promotions area of the site. At the time of the review, this was still valid, but we do suggest checking directly with the brand at the time of your visit to ensure that it can still be used.

The code is PRO and it can be used with a deposit of £20 or more. The reward attached to this promo code is a spin of a Mega Wheel and the chance to win between 50 and 500 free spins on one of four different slots. These are Starburst, Irish Pot Luck, Fluffy Favourites, and Chilli Heat.

Jackpot and Promotions

Promotions are liable to change. Feel free to visit the official website to verify all of the promotional details.

  • Free Spins of the Month – Each month the site chooses two different slot games as the games of the month. Every qualifying deposit of £20+ in the month will earn you a spin of the Mega Wheel to determine how many free spins on either game you are awarded (between 20 and 500).
  • 200 Club – When you have collected 200 Trophies, you will be sent a free £10 Amazon voucher by OK Bingo.
  • Turbo Wheel – You get a spin on the Turbo Wheel when you deposit £100 or more and the prizes are between 50 and 500 spins on a selection of slots.
  • Happy Hours – When you log in to your account between 15:00 and 17:00 on a Wednesday, you will have a Mega Wheel spin to win 10+ spins on a different slot every week.

Bingo Games and Slots

If you are looking for bingo at this site, you have to scroll a little way along the games menu to find it. Prevalence has been given here to the casino and slot titles rather than bingo, and that is clear when you look at the location of bingo on the menu.

When you do get to the bingo section, you can see that OK Bingo is host to several different variants of the online game. It hosts 30-ball, 75-ball, 80-ball, and 90-ball across over 9 rooms.

All of the information that you need about what is happening in each room is displayed on the graphics in the lobby and this includes the cost per ticket and prize amount in each room.

Tickets typically range from 1p – 25p each

Visit any of the other menu tabs like Jackpots, Table, Casino, Newest, or A-Z, and you will get a feel for the impressive number of slots and instant win games that this site has to offer. It is clear that this is the main dish of what is supposed to be a bingo site.

There is a wide selection of game providers who have their names in the library here including Microgaming, Pragmatic Play, Yggdrasil, Slingo Originals, Barcrest, WMS, Betsoft, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Eyecon, Big Time Gaming, Reel Time Gaming, and Scientific Games to name but a few.

Mobile App

You can access OK Bingo on any device that offers a web browser which means you can also access the games via your mobile or tablet. There is no requirement to download an app because one is not available. All you have to do to start playing is log in with your valid account details.

All of the games are the same on your mobile device as if you were playing via your desktop and all function well on a smaller screen.

Registration and Login

One feature we particularly like about this Jumpman brand is that they feature ‘PayPal Quick Registration’ which allows you to sign up and start playing super quickly. Your details will automatically be populated and you won’t have to spend 5-10 minutes filling out forms. If you use PayPal, we highly recommend you select that option. Otherwise, you will just have to have all your details on hand before you are provided with your login details.

Payment Methods

There is a decent choice of banking options and deposit methods at okbingo.co.uk. Some qualifying ways to fund your account include:

  • Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Maestro)
  • PayPal
  • Skrill
  • Pay By Phone Bill
  • Neteller
  • Paysafecard

The minimum qualifying fund and withdrawal are set at £10 on this website. Likewise, there is a £2.50 withdrawal fee, which if we are being honest, we do not really like.

Finally, prior to withdrawal, verification documents may be needed, such as a utility bill or driving license. Once you are verified, the withdrawal processing time is up to 72 hours, followed by a further period, which timing varies depending on which method you select (e-wallets are faster).

Trust and Safety

OK Bingo has been around for a long period of time, originally established back in 2009. They are furthermore licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) under license number 39175. They operate in partnership between Reach Plc (owners of OK Magazine) and Jumpman Gaming Limited (the gambling software provider).

Review Verdict

What we would have liked to see from OK Bingo is a little tie-in with the magazine. That could have been a blog with some celebrity gossip or some unique celeb-based promotions. Sadly, the site doesn’t deliver in this area at all. However, it does deliver a nice selection of games in the slot arena and the range of bingo games is ever-increasing too.

We were disappointed by the wagering requirements, the charges on all withdrawals, and the processing time for withdrawals. Additionally, promotions are limited to those that are network-wide. It’s these shortfalls that have contributed to the average rating from us for this brand.
