About
Mecca Bingo Rutherglen is located in the heart of the South Lanarkshire town on Main Street. There is a car park behind the venue that you can access via Mill Street plus the 7 simpliCITY, 46, 65, 90, 267 Lanarkshire Connect and the CG1 buses all stop 15 feet away from the entrance.
The club occupies an old cinema and is relatively small when compared to the newer purpose-built halls in the chain. Don’t let the size put you off though. There is a brilliant atmosphere here as everyone gets the chance to know each other, plus there is just as much bingo on offer too! Games are played every afternoon and evening and if you are an early bird you can play Monday to Saturday mornings as well. Both paper and the electronic version of bingo are available here and there are some great jackpots up for grabs both in-house and on the linked games.
You must be a member before you can play, however, membership is free and soon as you join you will be treated to a special welcome bonus. Mecca Bingo Rutherglen opens from 10.30am Monday to Saturday and from 12.30pm on Sunday. The club closes at 12am every evening.
Each day has 3 sessions of bingo except for Sunday when only the afternoon and evening games are played. Morning games start at 11.30am (11.45am on Saturday), afternoon sessions begin at 12.30pm weekdays and 2pm at the weekend. All of the evening main events get underway from 7.30pm.
Prices
Prices at Mecca Rutherglen range from £1-£12. The morning games cost £2-£3 each, afternoon games are priced at £1-£4.50 and the evening sessions cost £4.50-£12 with the cheaper sessions taking place on weekdays.
On top of the paper prices above they also have electronic bingo which is known as Mecca Max. Tickets to these games are sold in packages which offer some fantastic value.
